    Attractive, slim A5 booklets. Nicely set out and accessible.

    How clear are its aims and outcomes?

    Aims clearly described in leader's notes, with relevant backup information.

    How accessible are the leader's notes?

    All material in the one booklet, with the leader's notes at the back. Helpful further reading suggestions. Good background material for ‘answers' and contributions to the discussions. Supportive and realistic style. Icons in main material and clear layout, with similar format throughout. No timings.

    Who could lead it?

    Any leader with a bit of experience.

    How helpful are the participants' resources?

    See above. Spaces for writing responses in, whether in group setting or using individually. Plenty of input for individual use.

    How good is any digital material?

    N/A, though use of music recommended for opening worship slots where suggested.

    How much prep will I have to do?

    Shouldn't take too long, but the leader's notes at the back need to be related to the main session material each time and decisions made about how much of input material to be used. Really good range of thought-provoking information. Music if you are using it, plus occasional props.

    Suitable for many Christians as it is. More or less of the input material could be used as appropriate. Activities could be added, but this would take more preparation.

    Honesty and application directly encouraged, though different authors do this in a variety of ways, some more than others.
