A ready-to-use, Bible based resource for use with children aged 7-11. Together, the children in your group will love discovering more about what it means to be a follower of Jesus; who better to look at than, Simon Peter, one of Jesus’ first disciples and leader of the early church.
It’s a mind-blowing story about a fascinating character that proves that anyone can follow Jesus and have their life transformed by Him.
Using songs from the BIG Ministries album, God’s Love Is Unstoppable, alongside the stories about Peter, nine of the session look at and important theme, including: ‘Prayer’, ‘The Holy Spirit’s Power’, ‘Who is Jesus?’ and many more. (There’s also a special tenth session about Rhythm.)

Excellent. Appealing cover and inside material is extremely easy to follow due to subheadings, easy-to-read font and use of pictures. Page layout is attractive to read.

Minimal, each session has a ‘you will need' section which clearly states what would need prior preparation. The extra resources are easily obtainable. In some sessions, where a choice of 2 options is given for a certain section, leaders would need to decide on which to use prior to running sessions. Also, as the resource is based on Simon Peter, a background knowledge of his life would be beneficial beneficial.

Very well. This is key throughout the whole of each session.
Biblical passages are portrayed in the form of a script to keep children interested. Worksheets mean they can apply and question what is covered. This resource also includes music and rhythm to help more children access what is being taught.
Sessions are suggested to run for 45-60 minutes. A variety of activities means that this resource can be adapted to fit different group, and if an activity does not seem appropriate, previous ideas can be substituted in. Sessions do not need a huge space to be carried out in and can also be used on small or large groups of children. Easy to use with both ‘churched' and ‘non-churched' children.
This is not a huge focus as children fill in worksheets about the session themselves.

Fun suggestions are made in the ‘Tell it' section for ways to engage the children in the Bible script story. Worksheets allow children to apply to material in a way which is exciting for them.
